We are located in Central Florida near the Gulf Coast.
We live in a community of "Mini Farms" were we raise Miniature
Australian Shepherds, and have a few horses, cows, and chickens.
I started breeding the Mini Aussies in 1999, striving to produce the look,
temperament, intelligence, and athletic ability of the standard aussie in
the size frame of the mini.
My breeding stock is registered with either NSDR, ASDR, or AKC.
I believe in the health of the dog. My dogs are on regular heartworm
prevention, flea and tick control and have all the appropriate vaccinations.
Also, when they turn two, they go in for hip exams and get OFA certified.
We also go every other year for CERF testing on all the breeding stock.
I raise my puppies indoors where they get lots of attention. My kids are
grown so the puppies are very socialized with adults but have limited
contact with children. All puppies have their tails docked and dew claws
removed when they are 3 to 5 days old. They get put on a worming
schedule and are wormed every 2 weeks starting when they are 2 weeks
old. They get their first vaccination when they are 6 weeks old, then
back to the vet for another set of vaccinations when they are 8 weeks
old. At this time they also get a complete health exam and come home
with a health certificate and are ready for their new homes. They are
